Shading problem

Hello, i have the following problem with shading in xsi:
i’ve imported a model from max using OBJ format… And in xsi it is shaded in the wrong way (see attachment). I checked - the problem is not in lightning or normals orientation…
Maybe you know how to fix it…

Check in the object’s clusters if there is one named “User_Normals” or something like that, and delete it.

No such clusters… :frowning:

you could try selecting all the polygons, right clicking and selecting “extract polygons”, usually this works… but you might loose some uv’s, or you may not…

Also you might want to do an Invert Polygons.

Extracting polygons works well…
But inverting polygons does nothing in this particular case…
