Shaders Workflow-debbuger

#1

Ok here i am again giving another chance to get to know EI. I just downloaded versio 7 for the i lost the count.
That debbuger error i never know what is wrong with this baby,is a mystery.
There us got to be some kind of shaders that work as i was trying to do a gradient on a flat cylinder and trying to do some alpha for these one but it is so old school. There is nothing wrong with that but it seems so tedious to go every time you want a shader you have to add in the diffuse tab or any of them and it just takes forever to find the shader. When you finally found it it doesn’t give you any friendly interface option where you can see how is the model gonna look like or just preview more accurate.I found it these time not too friendly at all.
A better texture display will be also good,it seems you have to plan evrything ahead you cant improvised i know for any of you guys doing arch work might be god but i find it very slow the workflow i know there is have to be something that i am mistaken. These product rocks i just dont seem to get into the core.

adding to it i saw for the first time that it renders 48 bit color space than takes it down to 32 bit color space incredible. I need to master these beast.
I guess i didnt see the .EXR export option does .IMG handles more than the .EXR format.

It would be nice if there were instant feedback on the shaders, but you can develop a pretty efficient workflow with them by taking small snapshots in the perspective window and using minimal lighting, no AA… until you’re satisfied with the settings. After awhile, you get a feeling for the shaders and realize they work quite well. The ability to save out materials for later use is also helpful.
