I think its painter mike? or photoshop? Dino, mike told me its practice that he can do it in 30mins…that to me is the hardest part…yep…practice…hehehhe

Mindboggling!.. How can you do that in 30 mins? :shrug:
Shake i want you to do some heavy duty artworking … stick with one piece for atleast 150 hours… Ok Thats my typical challenge picture time scale. Yet they still suck.

dinodog and maranello55 - thanks both of ya~haha maybe he clock has a problem:scream:i did play around with some brush in photoshop as well as in painter~actually my 1st time using painter~was feeling rather sick lat nite~took mc and got home earlier ,slept like hours and got up at nite~couldnt get to bed and i started doing that one just for practice:)
falcor - thanks mate~lol yeah i could use some solid hours to paint that one when i’m less occupied,i did thought of finish that angel piece.so no worries,it’ll come;)
here’s alil upate on the mononoke’s,added some kodama’s and made an update to the spear

Fisrt impressive work.
I like the main character. But I think the wolf is really too much realistic for the rest of the picture. Or maybe it is more the girl that isn’t enough realistic for the picture (bg is also really realistic). You’ve got very big contrast on girl, (teeth, mask) but something more fade on the bg.
So the picture seems in 2 ways. Avery artistic and great girl and more technically impresive bg and wolf which looks like scan of real photos.
I crit, I crit but it’s because I really like the composition of the picture and want it to be better again. I’m completely unable to do such work

Yeah maybe I need to do 3d mock-ups, I tend to take the long road when I should work 3d as my tool as, well. I really like this one, and a 1st time painter user nice! Do u like using the program??

hi guys,its been awhile since i last checked into my own wip threads.
authentic,beelow,enthombed,kelandra and cyborg,thanks alot for the compliments,comments and feedbacks.was unable to proceed with the stuffs i posted here since i lost my entire folio in that portable hardrive on that theft incident occured last month.i’ll try to proceed with what i have left here especially my favourite horseman and at the same time~i’ll produce more works and keep this thread alive,thanks again for all the supports and the encouragements from u guys.

I had this very strong impression that the girl in your avatar was Mononoke-hime, and it appears I was correct!
Great work here, nice, loose and efficient style. About the Mononoke picture in particular, the environment looks wonderfully lush. A suggestion would be about the wolf, I think he could stand out a little more, possibly by having some of that backlight showing through his fur’s edge in places.
