Select similar not working ??? Is this a bug?

Im new, I was doing a wine glass tut, got to the point where it said “Select Similar”
and it appears not to work, I select a edge then the select similar and nothing happens.
Also tried typing “I”.
Im running Fedora Core 4 and wings 3d 0.98.32a

If any of the elements have been modified independently of each other, select similar may not work. If you follow that tut exactly, it should work.

It works for me in 98.29b.

Ok,
I dont know how I changed any element, But I started over and it works, If I had a bigger
project going and did change an element, is there a way to find it and change it back???

I think once it is changed it’s changed (unless you undo),

…but you can just select that element that changed and one of the ones that hasn’t changed and select similar and it will grab them all. Meaning that the command works with more than one selection at a time. (not sure if I explained that correctly…)

Dunno if you’re doing ‘incremental’ saves - but they’re more or less essential if tackling a ‘big’ project?

I’ve found that select similar isn’t 100% effective, I often have to add a few elements that have been missed. It’s still a big time saver though! - Baz
