Hi, my name is Adam Snowflake, Im working on a videogame where all 100% of the profits are set to go to charity. The game in question is called chibi brawl and is a 3d fighter meets visual novel. We have some amazing people contributing to this project.
People with years of experience all coming together for a charity cause. Its amazing, some of the people weve been able to recruit and all through online posts like this one.
The game is made in unity 3d 5.1 we have a team of 3 programmers/developers, 3 character artists, 1 background artist, and two outfit designers(for the character customization aspect) 1 animator and 1 texturer.
Chibi brawl is a gaint crossover between indie media. For example we have Sherlock Holmes in the game, as well as Linkara from (Channel Awesome’s) atop the fourth wall.
We are still in the process of planning out the game, as well as programming it. We really need models before we can get started. We are looking for users who are willing to volunteer for this project.
What is required per possition:
Animator:
Being able to create cutscenes
Being able to use blender and or convert files from it.
Possible experience with 2d animation (not required)
Walking animations
Fighting animations (references provided)
Lip syncing (not required)
Texturer:
Basic clothing texturing
Hair and fabric texturing (both straight and natural (aka African American) hairstyles)
Knowing the basics of texturing
Modelers:
Some knowledge of texturing (not required but very much appreciated)
The ability to use and or convert files from the free software Blender.
Willingness to collaborate with others
Being able to work with model sheets.
Object designs
It is an upaying project given all profits go straight to charity. Right now we have one 3d modeler named Omar and he is a saint given hes done so much by himself. He uses, Blender a free program so if you’re familiar with it that’s a plus. If not no worries, just make sure you can convert files from it.
Though we have several animations already we need more so if you animate, we may have you work on cutscenes.
We have model sheets in the making, and character references as well. The characters are fairly simple, given were using a chibi model from blendswap.
We prefer everyone be on the same program for this project (Blender), however if that is not possible you must be able to convert files from blender to your current software.
