LEAD ART DIRECTOR:
Element X Creative is looking for a talented art director to work on upcoming episodic animation projects and features. Some of the responsibilities for the position include:

Developing the overall production designs for the shows

Managing the storyboarding teams and other concept artists

Creating character designs and concepts
Qualifications Lead Art Director:
-
Degree in animation, film, or entertainment related field
-
Minimum of 2 years production experience working in medium to large teams on long form projects.

Clear communication skills and leadership abilities
-
Ability to function well within a team environment
-
Ability to manage tight deadlines
-
Strong traditional hand skills
-
Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
-
Knowledge of 3D animation and modeling software such as Maya and Zbrush are pluses
-
Knowledge of compositing packages such as After Effects or Combustion are pluses
LEAD CHARACTER RIGGING TD:
Element X Creative is looking for a talented character rigger/TD to work on upcoming episodic animation projects and features. Some of the responsibilities for the position include:
-
Creating animator friendly rigs that work with Maya’s referencing pipeline
-
Creating a workflow to easily integrate mocap data from applications such as Motionbuilder into Maya rigs
-
Troubleshooting software problems in the animation flow
4.) Laying out facial rigs for lip syncing.
Qualifications Lead Character Rigging TD:

Degree in animation, film, gaming, or entertainment related field
-
Minimum of 2 years of production experience working in medium to large teams on long form projects

Clear communication skills and leadership abilities
-
Ability to function well within a team environment and be detail oriented

Strong knowledge of character rigging in Maya
-
Strong knowledge of Maya/Motionbuilder interaction
-
Strong knowledge of MEL and shell scripting
-
Good problem solving skills
LEAD MODELER:
Element X Creative is looking for a talented character modeler to work on upcoming episodic animation projects and features. Some of the responsibilities for the position include:

Creating rig friendly models/blendshapes with proper topology.

Leading modeling team in creation of assets and props
-
Working closely with art director on overall design of show
Qualifications Lead Modeler:
-
Degree in animation, film, gaming, or entertainment related field
-
Minimum of 2 years of production experience working in medium to large teams on long form projects
-
Clear communication skills and leadership abilities
-
Ability to function well within a team environment and be detail oriented
-
Good problem solving skills
-
Strong knowledge of modeling with 3D application that can export to Maya for animation. Zbrush experience a bonus.

Texturing skills and knowledge of UV layout preferred
-strong knowledge of human anatomy.
LEAD ANIMATOR:
Element X Creative is looking for a lead animator to work on upcoming episodic animation projects and features. Some of the responsibilities for the position include:
-
Working with mocap data and enhancing/smoothing it where necessary
-
Keyframe animating crucial action sequences and non-mocap segments.
-
Creating realistic human lip sync and facial animation.
4.) Leading team of animators through project and maintaining consistency of animation style.
Qualifications Lead Modeler:

Degree in animation, film, gaming, or entertainment related field
-
Minimum of 2 years of production experience working in medium to large teams on long form projects

Clear communication skills and leadership abilities

Ability to function well within a team environment and be detail oriented

Good problem solving skills

Strong animation skills using Maya (motionbuilder experience desireable)

knowledge of human movement and facial expressions
