Secret of the Eyes :: Production Focus

Hey there,

Some months ago the bunch at ‘100Bares’ crew invited CGSociety to find out how they created their huge minute VFX compositing and matchmoving sequence in El Secreto de sus Ojos (The Secret of the Eyes). Then they won an Oscar for Best Foreign Film. Click the image:

I know some guys that worked on this they’re very talented, and it kinda shows. I didn’t realize how much work was involved in this sequences (which is of course a merit for those who worked on it). Congrats on the oscar by the way.

Oh, and the title of the movie it’s wrong. It’s not “The secret of the eyes” but “The secret of her eyes”. I don’t want to be a grammar nazi but the difference is kinda key in the movie.

Cheers!

In fact the right official tittle in english is “The secret in their eyes”

Nice breakdown is interesting to see that blending along those shots, it was really exiting to see that camera flyng around the stadium and then laying beside the actor between the multitude, nice!

Lol, I wanted to correct them and I was wrong myself. Well in spanish we use the same word for her and theirs (which would be “sus”), therefore the miss interpretation. Sorry for the offtopic though.
