hi tyleen, good work so far… Looks like you are putting great detail in the characters and thats very important as shes flying down. It kinda reminds me of matrix 2. Anyways, can’t wait to see the final result take care for now.
this is the line art im going to be working with. Its not entirelly detailed cause the right down to it details i do while painting. but its the basics
This is what im looking at right now on my screen so far. Im working on the background as i type. The building, the explosion and sky. I still have loads to do. for example the reflections, and more details on the explosion and lighting and oooooooo soooo much more to do, i love it 
Here it is comeing along. Got some reflections on the go. I still havn’t got any light on anything from the explosion but im working on that right as you read this…sooooo much to do

looking good, i like the explosion, and its not too firebally, more debris explosion which is cool. The sky seems a little bare, but then there aint much you can put in the sky without lookin ridiculous… lol
a thought, maybe make the reflections of the other buildings but i’m not sure if thats much of a good idea. however i actually like the girl now really, in her unfinished state! lol. it’s like ghost in the shell, but shes not naked here…;p high tech camo suit rendering her partially invisible.
Also, typically i’d like to see it widescreen but as you’ve probably noticed in my thread im a massive fan of cinematic widescreen shots rather than pure illustration so maybe ignore this bit

c780162 - yeah the only thing i could think of to put in the sky would be like a helicopter or something, but seeming as this is a “secret” mission, i decided against it for that reason as well
Yeah i thought a camo suit would be really cool but i seen another entry in this contest with a guy and a camo jacket so i dont want to be accused of copying gadgets or anything =S
lol yeah this time around i just figured illustration set up =P
ok So i have completely forgotten, COMPLETELY FORGET THE GIRL in the sense that the way she is painted is going to completely change, well she’ll have same structure and what not, but im going to repaint her skin and everything later and with proper lighting. right now she’s just, there. =P
So as of now im going to sleep, im going to continue working on the guy tomorrow.
and no the lines are not going to be there, i only made them visible so you can see whats going on with the guy cause i dont have enough detail on his suit i think to see whats really going on with him. and i suppose it helps you see the chick too.
im still debateing on haveing a rope attatched to her and the building, or have like a flying squirrel kinda deal with like arm flaps attached to her suit for gliding. what do you think???

Flying squirrel, on my opinion, she must avoid get caught. And must deliver mail on time.

thank you. Explosions are a lot of fun to paint i realize, hard not to get carried away. And of course she’s got a smile, somehow i think i’d smile if i made an explosion like that =P
lol that made me laugh, she’s not stealing files, she’s a secret agent post man, MUST deliver the mail at ALL costs 
Which one do you like better, the first one (A) with the bad guys leg sticking straight out with his sock showing, or the one (B) with his leg tucked out of view with perspective?
how bout half way? from what i can imagine, half way seems natural. At the way he’s fallin, straight out seems a bit odd, maybe im wrong but i jus think half way sounds right as tucked all the way in also doesnt seem quite right lol. Not sure if im gettin my point across but i cant really describe it any other way.:bounce:
no i think i understand, there is a halfway, i think it would seem more natural too, i’ll give it a shot and see how it looks and post
