Hey ol’ mate
Looking good already. Good luck
Secret Agent Entry: Tiziano Baracchi
Yep, like the others said, a great start. Thank you for the kind encouragement too but this time I won’t be entering. But I will be dropping by and know you’ll be amazing us with your work
Fernando, Martin, Mark, thank you very much! Glad you all like the first idea :D.
Given that there is time (I’m not aiming to put in many characters this once, just the two ladies so the painting itself won’t take to long), I’ll try out some different sketches before settling on one and refining it.
I want to experiment with dramatic point-of-views : from below, from above, slanted… Stay tuned for the next one
Sorry you aren’t in this time, Mark, but I’m counting on you to keep me in line, ok?
Oops, sorry Darwinsmishap and Neubius and snake08 ! I was sure to have answered…
thank you very much for the encouragement, I hope to have your company during this journey.
Neubius, Niobe was my favored female character in Matrix, with Zee a close second.
Nobody kill me, but Trinity felt a bit like ‘one of the guys’ to me, a, how can I say, ‘neutral’ (or neuter) figure .
Got your point, snake08, will try to make their rivalry a bit more immediate.
DarwinsMishap, great minds think alike (or was it ‘game alike’?
)
bro! sexy ladies are in your hands once again!
me looking forward to more concepts! … also, since you’re playing with point of view … i thought you may find this helpful …

see how it works, coz i actually thought about the drop zone scene in the latest star trek movie … awesome camera angle! you could show them two ladies battling it out in a direct way
good luck bro! have fun!
Here’s another option:
Agent A is downloading important files/uploading false info…just moments ahead of Agent B who was after the same quarry or is it counter-espionage?
The choice is yours.
Nice babes again
You sure have good sense of posing. At first I actually “misinterpreted” the top females pose, but I get it totally now…
I like the way you’re pushing the ‘camera angles’ and comps to add interest and drama. Great stuff, buddy
looks like a good start from ur sketches. Loooking forward for more updates:thumbsup:
Wow, Nevs! Talking about ‘extreme’ angles… Another sketch is coming with a more ‘face to face’ approach, looking forward to your input.
Martin thank you! If I go on with this one I’ll make sure that the values help reading the depth (guess that was part of the mis-interpretation?).
snake08, OZ Thank you very much.
Mark, thanks pal! I think I really need to work on pushing the PoV in my pieces, to give them some punch, and what better exercise than such a topic as this?
nandlaskar Thank you, hope you’ll stay around
Madness-of-Hamlet A thousand thanks, and good luck to you too!
Another sketch would come in a while, I’d love your opinion on it…
And here is option number three in fact it could be just a few minutes after number 2 (or before number 1):
Agent A had what she wanted and was making good her escape, but was intercepted by Agent B bent on retrieving the info or getting it for her side, things got a bit heated here.
I’m treating this Challenge as if it was an industry assignement with a rather open briefing. Would you be so obliging as to play Art Director for me?
Which of the three work better for you? Or which elements do?
Thank you very much!
Wuhuuu! I can see a helicopter in this one. I love those
I think it works. But be careful not to make it look like the beginning of an “adult” scene.
Oops! I realize it’s very scribbly but the nearest agent is wearing a kind of catsuit (the other one wears a qipao), guess what I meant as seams reads like underwear in the sketch…
Glad you like the ‘action’ and helicopter angle
great sketches all over, the latest ones looks alil too saucy
ill keep lurking in for more mate:)
yikes ! it is quite saucy!
nice dynamic composition however. maybe a slight alteration of the pose ?
I like the contrast between the heli action outside and the more secret kind of thing happening in the room.
keep it up man!
Thank you all for the comments!
I think the third sketch it’s the one then.
One thing, though: gauging from your reactions, I think I hit some kind of cultural thing I cannot really see, so I definitely need your help.
Why does it read as ‘saucy’ or risquè for you?
Is the clothing? (the catsuit will be redesigned to avoid the ‘underwear’ look and the other agent can be dressed in a different way if the qipao is too much).
Is it the posing? As I saw it the agent in the sunshades dove to get out of the way of the other’s gunfire, losing the documents in the process and is now scrambling to arm herself, the foot’s positioning avoids any crotch-shot , but if needed the position can be adjusted too.
Would it read as ‘saucy’ if ‘Sunshades’ wore trousers?
