The intial character pose.

In a nutshell, this character will be on a rooftop in a futuristic city, looking glaringly behind him, knowing that what he is about to do is kill without emotion.

Fleshing out the character more. He was initially meant ot be a bit older (around 45ish) but I like this youthful appearance too.

…and painting begins. The colour palette will be essentially a lot of blues, purples, and then bright greens, turquoises and oranges. I really, REALLY hope I can finish this on time, because as of submission, I have about 12 days left. I think I have about 100 hours left of work to do…hmmm… Wish me luck.

Here I am getting the general colour palette feel going. The time of day is essentially late afternoon. I will be adding depth and more detail as I go along, as well as further defining and refining the image. Admittedly it will be more blue. If you have any tips, suggestions please do let me know.

Hey there buddy , just wanted to point out an anatomy/perspective issue with the shoulders before you go further with this piece.Shouldn’t be too hard to fix given that you’re probably working on separate layers, do yourself a favor and take a picture of someone in that pose , you’ll see what I mean.All the best for the contest dude :smiley:
