#44

Very impressive animation. It kind of reminds me of the Bourne Identity. I look forward to watching the finished product.

#45

WIP animation where they run out onto the rooftop. The light you see is gonna be the helicopter light.

Great shot Richard. Reminds me of the one in the trailer of District 9!
Very cool work so far.

#47

i like it even moAr! a few things…the part where he shields his eyes from the spotlight didn’t feel right…at first i thought he did some type of wavey :wavey: i think you can strengthen this pose by using his forearm instead of just his hand…like these…

but other than that, i really like everything about it!

RedCigarette, Thanks, I appreciate your comments

Ragdoll, Thanks for the comment, I see what you mean, I was trying to keep his face on screen. I will see if I can make it read better.

Cheers

Rooftop scene rendered out. Not much time left, I’m really feeling the pressure now. Everybody is doing a great job, really seeing some amazing stuff out there. Keep up the good work everyone.

Richard3d,

That feels totally awesome!

#52

Nicely done, althought I think that spot light should be much more shaky. If it is on helicopter I can imagine that it would shake like crazy. You can see that in many movies… can’t recall any titles. At the moment hot spot moves too smoothly. All the rest is very good.

#53

This shot is realy cool. I like texturing very much - . Everything fits to this style.

Will You use some other composition work to those shots ? or it is final quality?
i guess dof is changing in very beggining of this shot - maybe this is not necacary, its looks cool anyway but… maybe if will have some time you can chack it how it will looks without changing focus from arm to buliding.

Hey Richard, very nice work there… Your entry is very inspiring.

best of luck in finishing.

#55

Nice! Love your camera choices and timing…

The shakiness of the swat guy in the foreground is a little distracting to me… I know he’s in a helicopter but I think it’s maybe too slow of a shake… or too regular. Maybe both. Sorry I’m not great at describing what feels off to me. The rest looks awesome though!

RedCigarette, thanks again

Pierzak, Yea the spot light is quite smooth, I agree with you, I didn’t want it to be too distracting. I will take a look though if I have time at the end.
Thanks for the comments.

Staszek, Thanks for the compliments, I will see what it looks like without the depth of field change.

Syndicate, Thanks a lot, I’m glad you like my work.

Mikebot, thanks for the comment, I see what your saying, I will see if it looks better a different way.

#57

I will be adding more buildings to the background, and also will continue the helicopter fog light.

Really nice animation. I know you wanted keep people from thinking “why don’t they just shoot him.” But, since you didn’t give the swat guys guns I still just can’t help but thinking “why don’t they have guns.” heh . Just makes chasing him kind of pointless when they can’t stop him.

Anyway, good job.

#59

Awesome! Great choreography!

#60

Looking great

One crit… the guy that swings the punch should probably do it just a little bit earlier… so its more fluid. I’m doing a similar bourne inspired sequence I guess, and I find that fluid action is the hardest part to achieve.

Anyway this is fantastic… You are nearly there
