Was goldeneye a bond movie? The last spy movie I saw was the one with Miss Pussy. ^^; I’m a bit behind on my tv watching. I thought that I should watch some for inspiration for the challenge, but I think I’m going a long fine like this.

No prob, :smiley: Yeah from what i remember the main bad guy in the bond film goldeneye was bond’s partner at the beginning of the movie, he gets ambushed or they become separated somehow. Then towards the end he reveals himself as the big bad guy. I’m really not giving it justice. Anyhow, great bad guy concepts, I’ll be following ur work.

So I did a bunch of thumbs, trying to figure out just how I want the action to play. I’m still not sure, but here are the first two that I’ve colored. I don’t think my pencil sketches are that easy to understand.
Still lots more ideas to work through before I start on the actual image.

I think I’ve finally found an idea that I like. FO24 is in a tank wrestling, or being strangled by, an octopus while Miss Meow pleads for his life. The bottom sketch is something along those lines and the others are more facial work on the bad guys. Nothing is really concrete yet, though. I might still change my mind. lol

Working on the room for the image. There are some problems with this sketch, I’ll work them out before the final image. The tank in the middle of the room in particular needs to be wider.

So a different direction. Again. For some reason I hate the octopus idea now. I like this one a lot better…at the moment. There are so many different things I could do and I think it’s really slowing me down. I’ll probably just try to run with this one since there’s only a little over a month left.
I don’t think I need to say a lot from the sketch. I hope it speaks for itself.
I’ll have to clean this up, complete the bg, and I’ll probably be able to get started.

So I’ve pretty much decided to scrap my foxes and have moved on to something a little more simple. I did these sketches a few days ago and haven’t found any time until just now to post them. The Doberman sketches are 2 min life drawings of my dogs sleeping and lazing about. I figured they’d make a good subject since I know so much about the breed. Let’s hope this one can hold my attention until a finished image. But just in case I did finish the fox sketch.

So the idea for this is that a Pug has disguised himself has a Doberman Pincher so that he can eat their bone with them.

So despite my urges to give up on this challenge, I’m back.
I’ve sort of switched back to the earlier idea with some character/role changes. I’m not sure how “secret agent” art thieves are, but it’s my favorite idea so far. And I don’t think I have enough time left to really do anything else.
So here we go!

Right now I’m trying to figure out my color pallet. I’m thinking some muted purples with neon greens to show Fo’s map screen.

Just getting started on Miss Meow’s colors. I’m still not sure how this is going to look in the end. 0o It’ll be interesting.

I noticed that Fo was far too small to be so close to the front of the picture so I set him a little farther back, to the side, and enlarged him. I also worked some more on the colors. Hopefully I will catch any other mistakes like this before I start painting.

I started to get bored with the color so to keep from ruining it with layers of color adjustments before I even finish the bg I switched to black and white. I’ll finish fleshing it out and correcting the values then fix the color.

Fo also got another makeover. I like him even more now.

More shading done. Started with adding the textures. I don’t think the characters are gonna change much now.

Miss Meow and Fo are two of the slickest art thieves around.
Miss Meow is a retired Assassin and Fo, Meow’s assistant, used to run tech support for the command center of the C.H.A.O.S Corp. Now they work together, targeting museums around the world.

I’m not really sure how well this portrays the idea of “secret agent”, but thieves are some of the most secret characters around.
