Wicked! Great work guys!

Nice one, Although I think that helicopter should move the smoke a lot once flying above it.
Well done

Yes, you guys have quite a fast turnaround on your work. Great SFX test as well. With the right explosion, debris and plume, that shot will be splendid.

Can’t wait to see more!

Best regards, Varun

#31

Great start. Look forward to seeing the edit start to come together.

#32

I like your work, 3d animation, sound, fx, …
One little thing that bugs me is, how the angle of the missile is opposed to the angle of the helicopter.

Kind regards
Peter

Hello Killay, you are right, also somebody said the smoke was not affected by the air from the helicopter, also right. That was a WIP, I already fixed those things. Thanx for your comments guys.

#34

I love the taste of your render and the way of photography.

Not sure why everything has a green tint to it.
I mean I know they use this effect in some world war II movies etc. but it just looks wierd with modern stuff.
Do you have that shot finished?

#36

Hi Pierzak, I read your post, and some questions comes to my mind too. The first is if you would do the same question if the film were in Black and White… the second comes naturally for me and is that maybe you think in present, and we have no fastenings with that, I use all the tools, ideas, styles, characters, colors… my palette has, and green, color, B/W are part of my options so I feel lucky to have the option to choose.

When we started this challenge one of the first things I said was that the project had not a precise time location. We want to mix things from past to future if they blend fine just for to get a cool mood. When I see MATRIX, as an example, the green grading doesn’t work as a Time Locator, you don’t say this is a modern film because is graded green, you don’t even think about modern anyway, you just watch the movie and introduce you into an experience the artists behind wanted to transmit to you. If you watch Saving Private Ryan the green grading force you into feeling that has nothing in common with time. Rumble Fish is B/W because Rusty James is color-blind not because is in 1983.

My conclussion is that you have to open your mind for to have fun and remember the fun was doing it. No barriers man, feel free to say what you want in the time you want.

And the shot is not finished.

Thanks
Israel

Hello all, here we post a homage to the landing sequences from the old Bond movies, to Jamaica for example. this is for the trailer part. An old Boeing 707 with the original sound, I blended 2 sounds from the 707 and the music, John Barry - Goldfinger Miami intro, is just reference for the musician.

Hope you like
