my first time entering a challenge o_0 ~ feels kind of scary…but the idea of “secret agent” sounds like a fun thing to do =)~ My first sketch is a simple character design. I think I want my secret agent to be a young prodigy. Should be around his early twenties. So, what’s the embodiment of the perfect agent…? He should be far too intelligent for his own good, cold and detached perhaps, independent, filled with self-esteem, and he most definitely needs to be cool and sexy with lots of personality  ~ Now it just remains to convey that on a piece of paper…

well, the next thing would be to put my agent in some kind of scenery…I ran a couple of ideas in my mind, creating a storyline as I went. I need to do that. Create a storyline with my character. I mean, I need to feel his presence, know his peculiarities, his way of being, in order to find the right mood. Just like a simple opening, a middle, and an ending to it. So the story of the “perfect stranger”, well you know how in many stories there is the importance of having an informant. The informant provides with crucial evidence and…well, information…That’s what I wanted with this image. The woman is the informant. She’s handing over something of utmost important, so much that it needs to be done unnoticed by all. Just as passers by. Well, that was my first idea anyway…

So, I was thinking some more about the epitome of a secret agent. With the kind of dangerous life they lead, there must be lots of ups and downs that helps define and mold the personality. Like when you hit rock bottom, it’s chaos, but if you survive you emerge much stronger for it. So what if the “perfect stranger”, the informant was more than just that…? He finds that this person sacrificed her life to keep his secret. To keep him living. It’s a blow, and the fog is thick. I love the old clich? about the hero who lost his loved one in early age, now he doesn’t care for a thing in the world, except finding the truth. It makes him reckless, bold and dangerous. Your guy for a mission impossible.

About the ending, the closing of the storyline. I want something that could be grand. This should be the climax. To kill or be killed. I was thinking “Die Hard”, or something in the vicinity. Something that would enable me to use all the typical ingredients. You know, explosions, dynamics, pure craziness, sexy metal…well, enter a helicopter in explosion and our main protagonist flying through the air on a bike. This is probably the one I will go for. I’m going to work more on this one. I’ll probably redesign the bike and perhaps add a few more elements.

inspiration…

a clearer outline of the bike. Or perhaps just cleaner overall. At any rate, I don’t think I want to leave it like this. I mean, I might just cover up most of all the tiny thingies with some festive design…I just wanted to get a feel of how a motorcycle really works. I’m not really a metal or any engine-type of artist, so I consider this a rather horrible challenge…

hey, i’m doing something similar to this, good luck
