Did a bit of tweaking. I believe he looks better now than he did before. I still have a few tiny tweaks, then I’ll get the shoes done and I don’t know about his accessories yet (i.e. his gun, maybe a hat…).
I can see you are exerting quite a lot of effort and maybe it is early days yet?
The people seem very stylized, but the rifle seems a bit more realistic.
It is probably because you used References more heavily for the rifle.
If you model the humans to home in closer on their References, the same way you modelled the Kalashnikov rifle, they will “bridge” together better.
I see what you are saying. I might just change the gun to match the character more (it means modeling another gun, but there’s still plenty of time, so I might just go for it). I don’t know what type of gun would go best, but it has to be a rifle or automatic of some kind.
Thank you for pointing this out to me, I really appreciate it
I’ve been doing some thinking for the gun my spy will be holding. I’m thinking of either a ‘browning 9mm 1903’ or a ‘M 1911 A1’ (both handguns). I’m not too sure how important this choice will be. In the scene, he’ll be placing the gun on the ground.
Current progress: Labcoat, shirt, tie, and hands/arms added. Fingers/hand looks a little large, will fix. Need to get the rest of him modeled soon (still so much work that needs done!)
Some more work. completed the texturing on my evil genius and got him posed (somewhat, it needs tweaking). I may change his hands to gloves (latex?), or just leave them, dunno yet. Tomorrow I’ll get the henchman textured.
More texture work. I didn’t notice until earlier today that I forgot to add eyebrows to the evil genius and spy characters. Will have to get those added.
I decided to jazz it up a little. Modeled some concept security drones, then did some photoshop work to help visualize a final image (still not certain).
