I don’t think CGSociety or specifically the CGChallenge is a recognized venue for the disregard of copyright law. Check the Collab forum for posts by musicians willing to help with your music needs. Or find some music that is usable without having to hire a lawyer.

This was taken from the FAQ forum. link is at the top. Not trying to make it hard for you, just trying to help you out, so you don’t run into issues later on.
As for the title, maybe just spell it all in English or all in French.

Again, really nice job.

Next time, I should read the FAQ.
Thanks for your help Richard.

This is very strong and cleverly made! You made a strong entry this. I’d use last 7 days to work on editing. There are moments you could realy improve but I’m guessing it’s not a final word from you.
Keep it up and good luck

I like the idea, modeling, rendering and compositing. But the animation seams to be a little stiff. You need to make it flow.

Good luck

if you need music : http://www.dogmazic.net/index.php?op=edito

need to register, but it’s free.

I agree about the animation, but I don’t think you should change that now I only got three suggestions that would make you film a bit more awesome than it already is.

  1. In the beginning of the movie, when we see the spy in the woods, looking up at the fort/castle/whatever-secret-base-it-is, I think it would be good if you removed or turned down the sound of his feet touching the grass. It seems a bit unatural.

  2. Near the end, when the spy has just lost the artifact, you could make the clip a little bit longer and shorten the fade-to-black-effect. it seems a bit too fast to comprehend what is happening.

  3. In the ending. It would be awesome if you make the vacuum-sound stay troughout the credits till the ending.

Hope this will help you!

Software: 3ds max,After Effects,Photoshop

I haven’t really worked on this since the last post. I know there is still a lot of things to improve but, i just can’t work on it anymore, it’s gonna kill me. This year gonna be really busy, i must have some rest. I know the animation look still unpolished , in fact it’s the first time i animate a character like that, so i don’t really know how to improve it. I know I’m going to disappoint some people but i think I’m done with this project, maybe i will rework on it when i will have more experience with animation.
Good luck everyone!

Despite what you mantioned “unpolished animation” this is a very strong and well put piece of animation.
Congratulations!

By far the best. Good luck in the competition.

#113

Looks like a winner to me!

Congratulations on finishing - good luck with the judging

#114

Nicely done. I really like it.
Your timing is really good, story has nice mix of action and comedy. Some things are rough around the edges, especially the character anim, but still this is really great.
Congrats on finishing.

Really great animation! Looking at it again, I think that the characteranimation actually contributes well to the style of the movie, which is kinda cool. The overall design and especially the lightning and texturing is quite professionally done. Good job!

Hi. I realy like your animation. It was pleasure to watch it. For time given it is great piece of solid work. Perhaps some moments are predictable (error during hacking walker, ending), but I think it is impossible to do something completly unpredictable. Damn - even on Pixar movies sometimes I know what happens next ;). So, great work - again. Good luck.
