Holy sh**. Thant is unbelivable. I like the grading you went for… that is something I need to sort out. Footage looks fantastic…
Tell me about the aerial shot… is it just a still image camera projected, some stock footage or perhaps you hired helicopter :slight_smile:

hey man…
We actually hired a helicopter… hehehe… honestly we thought about that, and heli wasn’t that expensive either, around 200 $ per hour… but obviously we couldn’t get permissions to shoot over the city … so we ended up using stock footage, …

with just a few days left to finish the challenge, we have an overwhelming amount of work ahead of us… how about u …? ur stuff looks awesome, think u’ll finish on time…?

Thanks, I am putting it all together, but still have few shtos to finish and some I haven’t started yet. I have booked another day off of work this week just to work on it. And than there is sound etc.
Making of will be done over one night I suppose, so it can be a bit crude.
According to my plan I should have it finished on Wednesday night. Can’t work on it on Thursday because of work during a day and Shakespeare theater play my wife and I are going to in the evening.
Last few day or rather nights will be hardcore.

My GF has been more than understanding with me spending time doing this, im hoping the results will be gooood! after we finish its :beer: time!

Rather ambitious to make the full cg character shot in the next 4 days… Our animation is done, but rendering, compositing and final tweaking are still to be done…

yep… it is ambitious. At the moment character is not that convincing… prehaps if he is in the dark room or when the camera is not “in his face” it would look OK.

yeah motion blurred you can get away with murder. Ever pause on the stunt and see the stuntman look nothing like the actor. Same with CG, doens’t matter if it’s quick and gets the job done.
Hope you guys finish the way you want too. This is the biggest/most ambitious project. Can’t wait to see it all edited. (and secretly hope it’s not as good as mine :wink: )

Thanks for the heads-up anyway Js! We had some terrible connectivity issues earlier which required us to spread the upload work among a couple of backup options… there was probably some confusion along the way resulting in the file switch… thankfully disaster has been averted in time! :slight_smile:
