Here is our latest test. Everybody is back from the holidays now but it’s slow going. JAS is having problems and his pc is down… but he did this test shot with all the elements like traffic, transports, etc. Lighting is not final. The #1 and #2 buildings in the left foreground were reworked also. Bldg.#1 was completely remodelled to replace Simon’s… but still needs texturing.
Your work is quite incredible, what program are you using for modeling??, I love the extreme attention to detail… I would really like to get involved, I am pretty good when it comes to modeling buildings, especially if I have reference material but I can work without, you can chech out my current wip thread if you would like to see what I am capable of:
I use lightwave for everything.
Things I can’t do are texturing, organics, and animation, more or less I am just good at modelling. I started out just modelling sci-fi stuff for them most part and worked on some other stuff in my sparetime. I will render some of the low poly fightercraft I have made and you can see what you think.
Regards,
Half
BTW- I would like to help but would also like to finish up my current project first…
We use MAX mostly. Probably like… 60% MAX, 20% LW, 10% Maya/XSI, and 10% the rest like C4D.
You seem to have a good start on modelling… and b/c you use LW really doesn’t matter… but I’d have to see of the better work to figure out if you could fit into our team somewhere. I visited your website and your latest LOTR project is the only attempt at a detailed project I see so far. I’d say to keep in touch and email me pics with what you’re up to. Good luck.
Just wanted to thank everyone for their comments !!
Once my rig is up and running again, I can finalise modelling, making sure building placement is OK etc … then will pass the scene on to Zorbi for final Lighting and rendering …
Zorbi is finishing up a new gig… but JAS has his pc working again and has finished modelling the AA-9 STARFREIGHTER. We probably won’t see this model that close… but JAS wanted to do a high-rez version of this model. Here’s some high-rez pics so you can see just how detailed he has made it.
