HI this is realy a funny guy - its good to see him ready after this long time , but i think the tentacles are realy a bit to stiff , too.
Else it is a realy good idea and realization for a still.

What a poor and sweet animal, really. Also nice green background and nice caustics. But i think the eyes are too two-dimensional for the scene and the tentacles too similar to each other.

the green textur of inky does not really fits. but it seems to be an early version and it doesn´t matter. nice perspective!

A barrel tutorial…hmmm. the barrel of itself isn´t the problem. the damgage needs work. How I´ve modeled that could you see on the wire frame. The rest is texturing. Sounds comical, but it´s so :smiley:

Good work indeed Maniac, i like that look, that style and so on.
But, you know that the picture is good, so lets concentrate on the less good things which would be

  • the reflections on the head on both sites look the same, one brighter, one darker, this is the most bothering tit (tit=thing i think) g
  • the tenctacles which the other people have mentioned here.
    All other stuff is subjective.

At last, i´ll like the picture.
Maybe you should call him (based on the barell) radio-oct-ive
, oct-an or oct-avius. :wink:

@Thiago_Pires: there´s already fog. The green background and the camera distantly objects are extremely effected by the fog.

An animation is not planned but never say never :smiley:
