He doesn’t like it - believe me…^^

Hey guys!
Collaboration of Qba! and me : subject was Blacksad.

we went for comic style!

Pencils: By the almighty Qba!
Colors: By me

Oh and if you care :
here’s a close up to show you the textures i used.

For the colors:
the focus should be on the dead one, Blacksad should be in the background…like the viewer is shocked by the shot and can only focus the corps but not the one who actually shot…that doesn’t makes him even more important i think. I used several things to make the viewer recognize things in the “right” way ( that i want him to), complimentary contrasts, diff. amount of detail, diff. sharpeness etc…

I hope you have as much fun with it as i had with doing it !

great job! the forground character totally reads as the focal point.having this piece tilted was a great idea! awesome job on the colors and the lighting! :slight_smile:

realy very good textures and lighting.
It took me a while to get how the dead ones face was meant to be. :slight_smile:
