Saving maya pinned channels within graph editor

Hi all,

I’ve always found the inability of Maya to keep the layout and panels as they were when I saved it extremely annoying. I am trying to have multiple graph editors on different tabs on one panel, each one only showing different channels for different objects that I have pinned beforehand. That’s simple enough. The problem comes when I close maya and try to reopen the file again. All the pinned channels are gone and I need to do it all over again. Is there any preference that I may have missed, or is there any script or plugin that allows me to have my maya layout exactly as it was when I saved the file? For the record, I am using maya 2018

Solved the problem with the Graph Editor not displaying the Function Curves properly in Maya 2018, probably due to the age of the graphic card not being compatible with latest OpenGL settings. Solved the problem by making two changes, One to the Display setting and Two to the Animation Graph Editor settings- hope this helps!
