Save for web question

#1

Hi All,

I’m currently working on stuff that requires me to export a LOT of files using save for web…

I required certain settings for my export so I went on to save a preset.

Is there a way to make my preset the default so that when I open save for web, my preset is already selected.

Its becoming a real pain having to select my preset from the drop down list every time I want to save.

Thanks,

Simon

PS remembers the last settings unless it’s a psd image with which other settings are saved
also, if you have several pics opened it might not use the latest settings

if you can’t solve this you can “cheat” before you are about to save an image:

  1. flatten the image
  2. crtl + A >> crtl + C >> crtl + N >> crtl + V
in plain english, “select all” >> “copy” >> “new image” >> “paste”

A one-click solution: record an action with your actions/settings, and use that action to do the work for you. Actions remember all the settings. This way you save a lot of time (and mouse clicks).
