this is a project we work on it for a hotel/resort a few months ago
we had the plans from the architect office and we remodeled every thing in order to set up the file for animation
Sherif did the whole modeling ,Adel was handling the post effects and all the great artistic touch in the project
i managed the scene and handled the lighting,texture & the rendering process

it was fun, but it never saw the light as animation because the project was shutdown by the client:)
yet it was released for a few print ads in mags and street banners

this is the main shot of the project for the pool area

very nice visu with lots of objects, grats.

water & sand…humm, not convincing. like the water is too blue or the sand is simply too yellow. does it realy look like that in reality?

I think it’s nice. Would have liked to spend holidays there ;-). You designed a fine place. Like your thatched roofs and plants. Can’t wait for the high res!!

in behave of the 3 of us i really thank you guys for passing by and leaving ur comments :slight_smile:
the straw was really a headache in process i went through various techniques in order to get the proper look we were looking for
i end up modeling the outer shape manually and created the morphing target for each for the animation:eek: all goes for the sake of a good render :arteest:

lovely colorful shot. but i think you could work on the texture a little bit specially for the yellow palms
