This one’s got a nice feel to it but there are a few things that seem off. First off is the scale; everything feels a little too big or too small. The chair is very chunky to go with that small, delicate table. I can’t tell what these buildings are supposed to be because what looks like doors are too small to fit someone who can sit on that chair.
From a previous post I understand you’re concentrating on a lighting portfolio so maybe the above isn’t that important to you. I find the CG lighting to be nice and the background to be nice, but the two don’t fit together quite yet.
You can see that the background (I assume it’s a photo?) has been graded a little. The brights aren’t quite white but have a slight yellow to them. You have to do the same with your CG lighting.
Wiro
these are the domes of churches…the main buildings are off frame here.
I would make the tabletop a bit thinner, wider and give a blue painted-metal look to it if i wanted to go for the actual colour scheme of an Aegean kafeneio (traditional cafe). The chair’s wooden parts could be painted blue as well.
I don’t know why but the overall lighting seems a bit hazy to me while it shouldn’t…can’t really put my finger on why though
but overall it is a nice image with a nice feel as wiro said
Although the image has some imperfections
that were appointed above, I like it…mainly the mood…
Congrats!

I agree with the above mentiond,
there are some imperfections…but the mood of the image is really nice.
Thanks for the crits guys.
I thought the chair was possibly a bit chunky also…I actually copied the exact desgn of the chair and table from a reference photo from the region.
I did see some that were blue you mentioned by stage-gr
The domed buildings are the tops of churches - they are not doors but windows…
The whole scene is going up a cliff face so the buildings drop below.
Thanks for the crits and compliments,
