Hehehey !!! Back with some new stuff. The smoke is done with particles connected to wind.

Your texturing is still amazing. Wow! :slight_smile:

The smoke needs improvements. Each particle material is not transparent enough, and you need to add some noise to the transparent channel. The noise should falloff from the center of the each particle.

Does this make sense? I can put together a sample scene for you if you like, but it’ll have to be tomorrow. I’m heading out to see a movie.

How do you unwrap your UV’s for texturing?

Hi mustan9,
I can explain you the process a little bit. First modeling the object. When the shape is good I apply the unwrap uvw modifier in 3d Max. Depending on the model I try to group parts for easier mapping. When all the object is unwraped I use texporter a little plugin for the capture of the uvw. Then open photoshop and starting the basic shapes, finally the textures.
Maybe this can help you.

For the smoke can you send me the sample scene please ?
