Robot Walk


I’m currently learning the ropes of animation and I’ve recently made this walk cycle for an assignment for school. I was wondering if I could get some feedback on it, on what I could push further or perhaps ease up on.

would it help if I got playblasts from different angles?


One thing I noticed was that your timing appears to be a little awkward. The legs on its right side seem to be off the ground at the same time. If you’re trying to make it walk like a dog, the opposite legs are off the ground, not ones on the same side. If its supposed to be like a crab or something similar, the legs move one at a time.
