rigging : Jaw rigging with Blendshapes

#1

OK…

Here is the situation.

I have a character.

I have two saperated blendshape set for his jaw.

First set is for closed mout and the second set is for open mouth.

The blendshapes are used in order to achive jaw movement.

I can get chewing action wıth those saperated groups.

My question is How I can switch beetwen these sets by using a simple controler.

There is gonno be a slider goes beetwen 0 to 1 so that I can have a cool blending effects.

The awasome Morpheus Rig has this feature But I have not been able to figure it out studyin the rig itself.

Anyone to help ??

i strongly advise against using blendshapes for the opening and closing of the mouth, they should be done via joints.

However simplest the answer to your question would be using driven keys.

There are various setups you could use but driven keys work just fine.

Thanks Lee. But my question was a little bit deeper than you thought.

It was no about how to move blendshapes using a control object.

It was all about how to switch beetwen two different blendshape sets using a one single control object.

Jut study the rig Morpheus rig which you can download from 11SecondClub.

You will see What I ment…

Thanks for the reply anyway
