Rig your bipeds AUTOMATICALLY

hey guys and gals

I’ve been working on an auto rigging script for the past few months, and here it is.

I’m a scripting noob, but this should work for any 5 fingered bipedal character.

This Script relies heavily on Jason Schleifer’s Animation Friendly Rigging Shelf and scripts as well as the “snap” script from comet-cartoons.com.
You’ll have to find them yourselves, as i’m not too sure about the legality of posting their scripts around…

Please have a look and comment on any improvements you’d like to see or tell me about how awesome you think it is!

Just import your character, follow the instructions and type “source wl_autoRig.mel” in the command line and seconds later you’ll have your character running around!
