Rig Scaling Problem

Hi,

I have a model with protruding eyes and I just can’t figure out how to scale it. I have grouped the whole rig and the mesh separately, and when I try to scale the rig group, everything scales how it’s supposed to except for the eyes, they stretch out.

I rigged them using IK Splines.

I have included a picture of the weird deformation and a picture of the model how it’s supposed to look like with the rig and the outliner.

It looks like you have the splineIK curves parented into the hierarchy you are scaling. This will cause a double scale because your controls which deform the same curve are also in the same hierarchy. Try un-parenting your splineIK curves and see if that fixes it.

Thank you so much! This was driving me insane and I’m on a tight deadline.
In hindsight, this seems like a pretty easy solution I should have figured out myself…well, live and learn. Thanks again!
