Rig/Animation low-poly or high-poly ?

Hi all

I’m a student from Vietnam, and i just learning rigging/animation a few days ago, i have a problem that what to choose between rig/animate low-poly or high-poly, what the best way to go ?

And how we can apply the rig/animate from lowpoly to highpoly model.

And the workflow like this, is that right ?

Model - texture - rig(low or high poly?) - animate(low or high poly?) - rendering …
