Rhinoceros 4 + Bootcamp -> Display Issue

Hello everyone,
just wanted to know if there are any Rhino users on mac (bootcamp),
because I have an annoying issue with ‘pop-up’ displays (like when you snap
and a small ‘ballon’ pop ups and tells you end, point etc)…
Basically, they’re just messed up, and look like video tear downs. That’s why
I need to know if there si anything I can do about it, a tweak in the ati control
panel or anything like.
Please, help a rhino user…

This problem pops up on Ati cards it seems and it’s probably the same on Bootcamp…in the
video panel Setting>Advanced >Troubleshoot …here reduce hardware acceleration one notch.
Works in on a Radeon x1600 in winxp pro.

Quick reply, thank you… gonna give it a try next time in bootcamp!
I tried fiddling with openGL settings but never would have thought of that…

it works, thanks.
however, with these settings studiotools poses a few issues… it feels like it has retinal memory, sometimes displaying different states of the cursor on the screen. funny, but not for too long.
guess i’ll have to take them one at the time.
If you have a solution for this though, please, don’t hesitate.

Your welcome, I just hope it works.:slight_smile:
I would probably turn off all the other opengl pipelines in any other display settings as I’m sure you will be switching between wireframe and others occasionly.
