Hi, I’ve strated a simulation with the cache directory on my C: disk but it was full before the end of the simulation (only the 27 first frames was saved). I’ve moved all caches files in an other disk And I want to restart my simul at the frame 28, but it seems not possible.
Can you say me if it’s really impossible, or if there is a way?
EDIT : I use fumeFX 3.5.5 with the Default cache mode

Also note that if you run out of space after 27 frames you REALLY need a bigger better location for your sim files. Caches files are big per frame. Wavelette files are HUGE per frame. Its really not practical
to work on a disk location that isn’t substantial.
Especially if you will be doing 10s of retakes per effect too.
Stop now and get a big hard disk.
