In this video we explore how to achieve maximum texture resolution using a multi-tile UV texture workflow. Paying close attention to pixel density and maximizing UV space, you can exponentially increase texture resolution for your texture maps.

Please don’t post threads that amount to a single external link promoting something in General Discussion.
Moved it to news for you.
My intention was to spark a discussion, not to step on any toes. Ill post in the news section from now on, but I have noticed there is little actual chatter in there. Hence my posting in gen-pop in the first place.
Yeah, news isn’t much for chatter except for the odd article.
I have nothing against sparking discussion on a subject you’d like to have a feedback loop with the user base, but I would invite you to post very differently in that case.
A single link to an external website you are involved in will usually be perceived as link gathering or advertising both from a contents and a discussion point of view (nothing wrong with that by the way, which is why I simply moved it, not removed it
).
If you want to invite discussion then you’ll have to “provoke” it. Usually asking the questions you’d like to see answered or debated, and/or presenting your view and a sumarry of where you want things to go will create a much better platform for that.
The video would become, at best, an accessory to the discussion at that point.
If it’s discussion you want, and we’re all for it, I’d invite you to re-address things differently to make it clear that it’s your intention and to drive it, at least in terms of starting it on the right foot.
I have absolutely no issue with you reposting in GD then.
Does that make sense?
I wouldn’t want you to mistake this thread move for some form of censorship or demotion of what you’re showing, it’s purely a matter of what form things take and where that places them in relation to the subforums and their intended use.
