Working on a creating what is essentially a column of fire. I’m using one we purchased as a starting point but I can’t figure out how to resize the domain of the simulation without stretching the smoke. I simply need to make it taller. My background is in Blender and I know how I would do it there, but I can’t seem to make that translate over to Houdini. Any help in right direction would be appreciated. Thank you!

Resize simulation domain?

By scaling the simulation you just stretch voxels. You have to adjust the size of the voxel grid. Therefore locate your dop network and in the attributes of the “smoke object” node change the size and center as needed. Or just click on the “smoke object” node and hit enter in the viewport. Now you should get some handles to adjust your voxel grid.
Hope that helps. If anything is unclear, don’t hesitate to ask.
