Reset UVs problem

Hi guys,
I had modeled a shirt and unwraped it. After that i decided to add some length to the sleeves. I decided to unwrap it all over again, but the old uv unwrap was still there and the added polys were no where to be seen. Reset UVs does not do the trick to include the new polys. Whats going on? :surprised

What software are you using?..
Don’t know what you mean by ‘reset UVs’ (maybe a new feature I’m yet to come across) but you could just select the new faces and auto map them, then tweak the new UVs around to fit the layout you already have and combine shells/borders where necessary.
If you extruded edges for extra length then you probably won’t see any new UVs until they’re mapped first as the new UV coordinates are on top of the existing layout.

You were right the new UVs coordinates were below my earlier work. I use 3ds Max. I have used the reset UVWs option earlier, the last time i did i lost all the uv layouts and it was a scramble like when u first begin to unwrap it
