Eek, I totally agree with you, I, as you, want to support software developers to help them make their products better.
The problem is not that, but it’s ok, my wish is to someday to be able to buy the software legally…
I’m sorry to say but you don’t have any idea of what is to get 600 USD (to buy only educational software) in third world countries. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying we all live in cardboard boxes, but USD’s or Euros are out of hand to many of us.
But I’m sure you won’t never understand that unless you live it by yourself and you see it buy yourself.
Anyway, my quest here is not to support warez or piracy at all, neither it is to annoy the strict moderators. I’m just saying that there shouldn’t be discrimination in some cases regarding people who for some reason need to temporarily make use of pirate software just to try to be at the same level and have the same opportunities as people who come out of very expensive universities which include all the high end equipment required to do this.
If there are punks out there who just try to get it free to hand around or do illegal bussiness with it…well, I guess the moderators should be in charge of judging who is fu…around or not. THat’s what they are for. Further, the country’s law should punish them, not even a forum moderator. They won’t stop piracy by preventing people to mention something about warez. That’s pretty silly.
