Hi David, thanks a lot for the rig, it´s amazing!!

I don´t understand the instructions to enable the box controllers, what can I do it?
Must I to put the .msa files in the scripts folder on the projectMessiah program folder? it don´t work for me :shrug: …

Perhaps i must to attach this files into the project … I´m lost …

They should be placed under your messiah hierarchy in the scripts folder. (Mine is:
C:\pmG\messiahStudio2.4c\messiah\modules\scripts)
Restart messiah. Should work.

that does not seem to work, the Box Controllers are still not working. Do you have another solution for this problem?

I think I know what’s missing. All the Box_Marker are missing the actions. Don’t know why it would omit that when saving… Or did you post a scene with armatures in construction?

Just checked the mpj here and it works. Is it working for anybody?
Maybe the linkage to the morphs gets skewered…

Kind of pressed for time atm, but I’ll try to check back.

Thanks to Stiderotte for pushing me to check this: I think I have the missing link. Marek wrote the object selection bridge as a script. Try adding this to your scripts: http://www.stickman.de/content/temp/messiah_wishList/objectselect.rar

Thanks for letting me push you on this!:applause:

I added the objectselect script to my scripts folder and still have the same problem…
If you look at “Box_Master_Mouth” for example, expand that and look at “Box_Marker_1”, shouldn’t there be an action listing one of the boxcontroller scripts and it would show which slider and channel it controls in the action tab below. I’ve been using the setup script that loads a single boxcontroller and that is where I noticed those action listing…

Hope this helps finding the problem.

seems the mk_boxcontrollerquad_cross is getting squashed in the mpjs. I’ll update the download with the fxs files and see if thats better… gimme some time.

I donwload faceRig.rar but it ask me for CTL_POS_Arnat.lwo, Sphere_trans.lwo… and many other objects… they don´t coming in this file.

make a null object in any modeler ( box, ball whatever )
select the edges and make 2 point polygons, now delete the 4 point polygons

Save it as Null.lwo

Now when Messiah asks for a item you don’t have,
copy the null and rename to fit what messiah is asking for.:thumbsup:

should load up find but may look alittle odd
now you can go back to you modeler and make the shapes fit better.

abit of work is well worth it when you see the rig :slight_smile:

object select is in the rar. I updated it just after that post and its in the rar.
THe objects are there, too (except for SphereTrans.lwo - that sounds standard) but you have to place them in the correct folder, respectively arrange the messiah search paths to find them.
Have a look in the manual for this.
And Thomas’ tip with null replacement is fine too.

So, everything was working? Others reported that the boxcontrollers weren’t moving the morphs.

Yeah, it worked great once I copied the scripts and the missing nulls. That’s cool the way the box controllers for the tongue are pointed at a slider. I can do sliders. The jaw control is great fun too.
