There should be a way to report dead/obsolete links.( or is there a method that I am just not aware of?) It would keep the board streamlined and pertinent. For instance, check out the tutorial links int the MAX forum. Many if not most are dead, or have missing information. And the resource section. Excuse me for being presumptuous, but is there anyone really interested in buying a book for MAX 4?
