Due to the fact that Xstream crashes constantly when using it within Lightwave I have been doing some tests to see how the rendering within native Vue is. Turns out it is very stable and I can actually render out an animation without it crashing every hour.
So the problem is this, is there any way to render out the vue scene within vue and the Lightwave scene within Lightwave and composite them together? Due to the way that Xstream works I can’t see how you can render out a proper alpha that will take into account where plants block objects and vice versa. Has anyone done this succesffully or have a good workflow for it?
