Rendering: Not even close to the camera view

#1

I’m making a model of a guitar in modo 301 using cad diagrams of the net.

The models come out pretty fine, and before continuing, I wanted to take some WIP renders. I frame up the model in my perspective view and hit ‘render current view’ and the render comes out nowhere near what I want. I also try rendering using a camera but the camera will never come near the object. I can hit shift+a to zoom in on the object but it will be pretty far away. I zoom in and it disapears.

This is the render tab

This is when I try and render the current view(perspective view). You can see what I expect to be rendered and what is actually rendered.

This is when I try and render from the camera. Again you can see what I expect to render and what is actually rendered.

The .lxo file is here. If you see the file, its not meant to match up exactly because I wanted it to be a little more agressive and I’m going to change the dimensions later to make a 7 string.

It’s probably my fault, but either way if you can help me out it would be really great. Thanks guys.

delete the size and front groups and all their children after doing that you can ‘fit’ the camera view and it works. I think you may have somthing scaled in a way that is throwing off the auto fitting…

Worked after I made sure everything but the mesh was deleted.
Thanks. Though for some reason its made my body mesh flip sideways. Have to fix that, but thanks.
