Hey guys, I want to animate a pretty complex scene in Maya and it takes a long time.
Usually I render the background separately as an image or several if the camera is moving. In this one, I can’t really do that because of the shadows. Is there a way to tell Maya to render only a fraction of the frame, say the bottom third, where things are moving so that I can add it to the a frame of the whole thing in editing?
