Render layer mask and object tag (Octane) with Layer ID and its opposite Redshift's Puzzle Mate Object ID problem :)

Hello all guys out there, i have got some missunderstanding of this base feature in both of those renderers…

I do understand what they are used for but i do not understand why when i leave the default value (in each renderer this number is different 0 or 1… When i use this number on the object tag it wont render this object pass…

I must to use the one increment of those numbers, in other words, the default numbers cannot be used… or do i miss something here? Please let’s talk here :slight_smile:
