When I render an object with a transparent background, so lets say a sphere with a mia_physical_sky environment in a EXR RGBA 32 bit format.
When I import this into After Effects and check “ignore alpha” in the interpret settings, The completly transparent pixel in the render show the mia_physical_sky background and not a black color, knowing that pre-multiply is checked ON in maya. Why is that? shouldn’t I obtain a solid black color?
render globals pre-multiply option not working

Just check the ‘use background’ button but don’t put anything in there. Should turn it off to eye rays.
To clarify I mean in the sky node.
