Remove Loop?

The only way i have of doing this is to select a loop delete it, then go back and delete all the verts it left. Is there any easier way of doing this?

Couple of options come to mind …

Select | By > Verts with > 2 edges (hotkeyable) … then dissolve

Select whole object (after edge dissolve)
Object | Cleanup
