reducing mocap jitter

i know in other programs there is a way to do this… i’m looking for a smooth, average or jitter feature that will remove jitter from mocap…

i suspect it’s right in front of me…

In the Filters tab, you can find a selection of scripts to help you out.
Select the things you wish to smooth - generally best done on the Control Rig.

I find a Butterworth is a great filter for taking out micro noise as a first pass on everything. But sometimes a smooth is good to target specific localised areas with more jittering. Things that tend to need more rigourous smoothing are hands as they often hold items that can exagerate a jitter.

You can also do it on a selected range if you select the keys in the FCurve editor first.
Also hit preview then you can just cancel or reset it.
