Hello, lady and gent!

This is my work.(Composition was reference Katsushika Hokusai’s work.)
I am tried to mix Ukiyo-e’s flat and solid two style,then make it looks harmonious.
But when it finish, i still don’t know how to make it better.
I’m only find one of the point that is i am poor in Anatomy.
Please help me , let me progress in next work.

The composition is interesting–I have no problems with it.

The colors are a bit chaotic and garish for my taste. I think you’ve got too many tertiary colors in the image, which makes it too noisy. Focus on a main color combination of as few colors as possible, and if you accent with tertiary colors, be moderate–don’t overdo it.

The lighting is also too scattered and incoherent. I can’t even tell where your light sources are. You need to have a clearly defined light source(s), and then be consistent about them. I need to be able to look at any part of your scene and be able to tell how it’s lit, by what, and from where.

Anatomy is something you’ll continue to work on as an artists, and it’s an on-going learning experience. But it makes a bit difference whether you use good references or not. The best references are always the ones you shoot yourself. Read up on the dangers of “cherry-picking” from photo references:
