Recent low poly models.Critique and toughts.

I have made 2 models today.An computer fan and cigarete case (my friend didnt belive me that i can model).Hoping to hear some constructive opinions that will help me boost my skill.For everyone new to 3d just practice.I think that you need to have something in you that will push to learn and practive more and more.Start by modeling simple objects around you.

I like these, I think some sort of fancy logo or insignia on the cigarette case would give it some extra class though. Also, you can embed images, see here: http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=208&t=1317527

Glad you like them.I was going to make an logo or something on the case but I dont reall remeber why.Il make some logo using bump map.Will post result

I have added some bump to the cover of case as you wished :wink: .It is not bad looking either.

They look good, the tiger one looks like something a mafia boss would have on his desk. Are you planning to add textures/colours?

I dont plan to but I can give the model to you and if you want it you can texture it.I made the model just for fun,I didnt plan anything special with it.You can download it at cgtrade.Link is on my portfolio

I would if I could, I’m not so great at art though especially texturing. I’m more of a programmer :stuck_out_tongue:

I am not for programing but more for modellin but I am beginner at modelling so I need to learn yet.
