I’m working on a project where I need a broken up object to sort of bounce and swirl around in the air and then land and form a solid piece. I’m doing it with RayFire and then I’ll cache it out and reverse it.
My problem is getting it in the air and keeping it from flying all over the scene. I’ve been using a planar wind to send it up and a second spherical wind with negative strength to hold it in the air.
I got it to work OK for the most part with simpler geometry (although it tended to clump a bit too much) but with more fragments it is way too chaotic to control.
Any suggestions on fine-tuning my setup or is there a simpler approach that I’m missing?
Thanks a lot!
