Wow, wow lotsa responses
okie time for an update, I spent sometime reading up on the Maya renderer and taking it for a real run, and its not as bad as most make it out to be, I actually like it
with some more time I’ll be very contented with it…
Anyhoo here’s the update I haven’t added any detailing to the foot pads as of yet, and the goatie is just for placement as is the loin cloth, its stiff like that for animation reasons. The next thing for me is the arm armor plates and the remaining straps and tons of fine details! weeeeeeee almost done

Virtuoso thx man I was actually thinking of something on his head but decided no, just a perfect place to start showing off some detailed texturing. Gawd I hope I can figure MAya’s texture editor out heheh. I haven’t used max in so long now, I’m beginning to forget the hotkeys o_O. And that GI renderer is kicka$$ tho I’m not such a big fan of GI, I love to light the traditional way heheh.
