looking good lil, the eyes look a lot better now. looks like he has a good stature too. now lets see those details!:bounce:

#44

I know it’s a wip, but I’m gonna through in some suggestions anyways! :wip:

I think you should pull down the head a little, to give him more of a hunchback(like the one in your concept) so that the head comes almost in height with his shoulders. you’ll also need to pull the head out from his body to acheive that effect.

also try making his stomach a bit shorter. I think it can be cool.

only ideas/suggestions, I know it’s very early
take care

Looking good lildragon…I really liked your sketch/concept so I’ll be back for more comments when it gets more developed.
waiting for more updates…Model onward!! :wip: :wip: :wip:

The edge flow looks ok so far… is that Maya? You can get rid
of black polys by Edit polygons-normals-set to face

Nice Lil, the character is really coming along nicely.

Your lowpoly meshes and the ones from Namoui have helped me greatly to understand how edges react to eachother and how to model overall.

Thanx and keep up, pitty you went over to maya though

Question: are there any tri’s in the quad region? and if so how bad is that?

good work but I think tant ths skin which make the connection between the feet and the toes is too big.
try to make it smaller

Hehe thx bud, and the mailing list I’m speaking of is on my kar site http://www.kar.eyecandystudios.net/

As for the tris, yes they are mixed in, I do that to get control of the forms, then I go in and clean up… thing is not to overuse them, but they can be useful in the building stage :wip:

Hehe yeah the look big don’t they? well it’s because the top of the feet are flat (no pretruding veins/muscle) Also he doesn’t have that armor there yet.

no fiancee over tonight = working more on him tonight
